I am still doing alot of catch up on the happenings at the IBDC event held just over a week ago. I am catch up in the office and truly am finding that the henna business is hitting it’s peak.
I recently made some good conversation with a dear friend that I have known for years, Rossah. Rossah and I have been known to be confused for each other for years, and honestly I can’t for the life of me understand why. She is Moroccan and beautiful and talented. I am Black Irish and well… you can see the differences right there.
It seems that I missed a crucial part of the awards ceremony that inevitably was part of a closed door celebration for those attending the IBDC. She recieved a lifetime achievment award and says she was shocked and still flying about the whole thing. She did mention to me she wished she had had her family there, but all in all, I am so happy for her. She has been very involved in her culture and dance for years, and I think she more than deserved it. Congratulations Rossah!
This next week alone, I have several weddings going on, but first, I do believe my new adopted family member (He is still unnamed) is in need of a cage cleaning and more so, some love and attention. I will be posting pictures soon!
Bright Blessings & keeping slinging mudd!
